Gudauri Ski Resort

Gudauri Ski Resort is located in Caucasus mountains along the Georgian military road.Gudauri is the largest and highest ski resort in Georgia and it continues to grow at a rapid pace. There are slopes of all difficulty levels for skiing and snowboarding . Large quantities of natural snow make the surrounding peaks on the border between Europe and Asia an ideal territory for powder enthusiasts. Gudauri offers its guests ski slopes with maximum exposure of the sun, which is the key to the amazing ski experience for novice or professional skiers. For now there are 7 ski-lifts which can take you up to 3300 m. above sea level and ski runs total length is more then 57 KM.

Bakuriani ski resort

It is the most family-friendly ski resort in Georgia.It is located in Samtskhe-Javakheti (Georgia). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 29 km of slopes available. 20 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,641 and 2,702 m.
Due to its long winters (4-5 months), the resort is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders alike. It is the best four-season mountain resort, ideal destination for recreational purposes as well as for sport and nature lovers. Modern developed ski area Didveli (1861m) and the oldest ski area Kokhta (2155m) are the beauties of Bakuriani. Here, different ski trails catering to all levels of skiers exposes maximum pleasure.

Mestia Ski Resorts:
In Svaneti, there are two modern white resorts: Hatsvali and Tetnuldi.

▪The ski resort Tetnuldi near Mestia in Georgia is the largest ski area in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, and is located at 2,260m/7,415ft to 3,165m/10,384ft above sea level at the northern, western, and southwestern slopes of Tetnuldi mountain.
In February 2016, the ski resort was reopened.
The resort has 4 ski slopes. Their total length is 7 kilometers, the length of the longest is 3.5 km. More routes will open. Both professional athletes and beginners in the world of alpine skiing will be able to master the slopes, skiing on easy trails.
It is expected that in the near future the Tetnuldi resort will win the title “Mecca of freeride in the Caucasus”, which is still held by the Gudauri resort, which received it about 10 years ago.

▪Hatsvali is a ski resort in Svaneti. Located in the highest mountain area of Georgia, in the Caucasus Mountains, Hatsvali is a very young resort located 8 km from the center of Mestia. In 2017, a new 6-seat chairlift was launched, which connected the center of Mestia directly with the resort. Thanks to the opening of the new cable way, Hatsvali ski terrain can now be reached in just 15 minutes.
The altitude difference at the resort is small — the lowest point is at an elevation of 1868 meters, and the upper cable way station is at an elevation of 2348 meters above sea level. The skiing season in Hatsvali lasts from December to April.
At the present moment there are 5 prepared ski tracks, with a total length of up to 10 km. In addition, for freeride fans there are opportunities for off-piste skiing in spruce forests, canyons and through the slopes of Mount Zuruldi. There are green, blue and red tracks, suitable for beginners as well as for professional skiers and snowboarders.
The longest ski run of the resort is 2600 meters long. There is also night skiing available.
There are 4 cable roads at the resort.
